"I'm fine, really," Adria said. "It's pathetic to imagine how petty I must have been."

"not really, everyone has a reason, yours just wasn't as bad as my situation." Norman said.

Adria sighed, running her fingers through her hair. "I guess so..." -
(they're walking.)
"At least you weren't up there to be popular just cause you died." Screech said. -
Adria snorted. "That's stupid. Why would I do that?"

"some people do it." Norman said.

"Hrm," Adria said in a tone of disapproval. "Oh, we're here already."

"cya later then." Norman said.

"See ya," Adria said. When he was gone, she felt lonely again.

Meanwhile Norman walked through a crowd of people yelling insults at him.

Adria heard whispers and tried to shut them out.

"hey doorman, go get me a book." Said a boy in the crowd. That boy was none other than Alexei, the most popular boy in school.
