Dan saw the girl lean back on the sofa with a feeling of satisfaction. He smiled and asked her:
"I'm glad you're feeling better." He paused.
"Was it only you and your mom in that ship?" -
Danee nodded. She frowned as she thought of her mother and a few tears rolled down her eyes. "Is... Is Mama... Is Mama up? Is Mama okay?" She asked, although she knew the answer.

"She's...she's dead."
Said Dan, looking down. He was very uncomfortable with girls crying. -
"Mama..." Danee whispered, hanging her head in despair. She sighed, took a deep breath, and sat up. She had her time to morn. She knew that this person deserved a proper explanation. "Mama did not want to be slaves anymore. So we stole the ship. It chrashed and Mama died... I lived because I was frozen for safety. So the crash only damaged the ice. Mama had to fly the ship. I had to stop the ship. it was going to send a path to our master..." Danee explained.

"Hey, at least she would be happy if she knew you are safe now. It's nothing like your planet over here."

Danee nodded. She needed something to learn about this word. In her home world her Master used a device called Astramoter (computer in English) to store and find information. But she didn't know the English word. "I should learn." She told him, hoping he knew what she meant.

"Hey I think I have an idea of how to show you our world." Dan went to his room and grabbed his laptop.
He sat besides the girl, opened google and typed spring. Some really beautiful scenes opened up in the images.
"See, this what earth looks like in its best." He browsed through some pictures, observing her reaction. -
Danee lit up when she saw the laptop. It was a very different design. But she New what it was. "Astramoter!" She whispered in joy. She lit up even more when the pictures popped up. "Spring?" She asked, reading what he typed. She saw the pictures and smiled at them. "Gladifoil!" She cheered, a word which meant Beautiful. "Thank you Daniel." She added, smiling.

"Gladifoil! haha yes they are very gladifoil!" Said Daniel grinning. "Spring is a season on earth. You know about seasons?"
Dan typed in Autumn this time. Beautiful pictures of autumn forests popped up on the screen. "I like this one even more!" -
Danee smiled. She looked at the pictures and studied them. "Back there? Back there it is all city. No nature. Animals live in factories. Water is stored in towers and taken from floods." Danee explained. "Can I use this?" She asked, pointing at the computer.

"Oh wow. That sounds awful. I really love nature...Can't even think about earth without it. Yeah of course you can. You know how to use it?"

Danee nodded. "Yeah. We have one like this back there." She replied. "We call it Astramoter. What is it in English?" She asked as she began to research. "laptop. laptp/Submit. noun. a computer that is portable and suitable for use while traveling." She read when she researched it. "computer. kmpyoodr/Submit. noun. an electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable program. synonyms: personal computer, PC, laptop, netbook, ultraportable, desktop, terminal; More. a person who makes calculations, especially with a calculating machine." She read. After this, she rapidally began to research. She tried to use as many sites with pictures as she could so she could learn the English.

Dan watched her as she browsed for different words on the internet.
"Woah you learn fast! It's almost as if you're reviewing it!"
For a while she seemed to get stuck on a word she couldn't pronounce
"Yeah that's flabbergasted. Like this, fla-brr-gas-tid. You know, you can just say shocked instead, hehe." Said Dan with a grin.
He watched her in silent as she tried more and more words but his head kept going back to what she had said about being a slave.
"Uh..were you really a slave back there? What was it like?" -
Danee paused and closed the laptop, staring at the wall in thought. She tugged on her collar and frowned. "Well... At first my mother was a slave for laundry, cooking, cleaning, and other chores around the house. My father was freed because they had no use for him. Men are generally freed more than woman and get their dice rolled again. My mom gave birth to me and the master decided to use me for personal use. When I was little I would just keep him company and he would laugh and play with my innocence. But as I got order it turned to touching... Mama didn't like that and made a plain to run..." Danee explained.
