Once they were out of the apartment, Jeremy let go of Charles. Charles immediately looked around, regaining his setting before whining when he saw how sad Tae looked. This made him start crying, and he walked up to Tae, his tail twitching nervously.
"Back to Tae's apartment, Ray," Jeremy told the dog hybrid. -
Tae's head was still buried in Raymond's sweatshirt but he could hear Charles. Raymond continued walking and opened the door to Tae's apartment, ignoring Charles who was trying to get to Tae. Tae cried out Charles name, wanted to make sure he was okay. Raymond walked inside the apartment, stopping in front of the couch.
-
Charles followed close behind Raymond all the way inside, trying to keep an eye on Tae. When they reached the couch, he waited for Raymond to set Tae down.
"Go ahead and set him on the couch, Ray," Jeremy assured him. -
Raymond leaned down and gently sat Tae down on the couch. The then went and say on the carpet floor staring at Jermery. "S-S-Stay?" He asked quietly.
As soon as Tae hit the couch, he curled up into a small ball. Even though he knew Jeremy, Raymond, and Charles wouldn't hurt him, he felt uneasy and on edge. He stopped crying but was still shaking as he looked up at Charles. -
Charles knelt down on the floor beside Tae, whimpering. His tail tube-clad tail was waving back and forth uneasily, nervously, as he set his chin down on the couch and stared at Tae with big eyes. "Ch-Ch-Charles does not like the-the cr-crying.." He mumbled, tears falling down his cheeks.
Jeremy patted Ray's head, shrugging. "If you want to, we can, to help take care of Charles." -
Raymond rolled his eyes at the thought of taking care of that cat hybrid, but nodded anyways.
Tae felt bad for falling apart in front of Charles. Tae sighed, his breath coming out shaky. "I'm sorry.." He bit his lip. "I'm just in pain. It'll go away.." He lifted his finger and wiped the tears off of Charle's cheeks. -
Charles' eyes widened, when Tae said he was in pain. "H-hurt spo-spot?" He asked, even more worried now and practically sobbing when he asked, "Does T-Tae need a c-c-c..." He struggled to find a word, and said, "C-color?"
Jeremy smiled, petting Ray on the head. "You're so good. Do you want to make them lunch?"
(btw the 'color' is what he calls bandages) -
Tae gave a small smile, understanding what Charles meant. "No..I have to bear through it and wait for it to go away." Tae was still very sore and his legs ached from the man's weight.
Raymond thought this over then nodded, running into the kitchen. -
Charles whined, wondering how he could help Tae. But he couldn't think of anything to do but get a color, so he went digging around for them in table drawers until he found a box with a picture of a color on the front. He brought them back to the couch, and pulled one out. When he opened it, he peeled the back off and held it out to put it on Tae. "Wh-where does Tae need c-color?"
-
Tae gave a small laugh and shook his head. He definitely wasn't going to let Charles put a bandage on his ass, so he pointed to where he got cut in the neck and the arm. "Here."
Raymond looked around in the cabinets, searching for food to cook. -
Charles eyes the hurt spots, put on of the colors on his arm, then went in the box to get another. He put the second one on Tae's neck, looking at him hopefully.
Jeremy joined Raymond in the kitchen, pointing out a can of raw salmon. "He'll like that, Ray." -
Tae smiled, hiding the real pain. He felt very tired, and his eyes fluttered closed, pulling him into darkness.
Raymond grabbed the can. "C-Cook or r-r-aw?" He glanced back into the living room where Tae was sleeping, lips slightly parted. -
Charles' eyes widened when Tae's fluttered closed. He hadn't had a lot of experience with bleeding in the laboratory that wasn't taken care of right away, and so he thought Tae was dying. He hurriedly stood and skittered off to the kitchen, sobbing. "J-J-Jared-Pee Tae is d-d-dead!"
Jeremy looked up, startled by Charles' sudden outburst. "Tae's not dead.." He said, to reassure Charles. -
Raymond rolled his eyes and ignored the cat hybrid. "C-Cook or r-raw?" He said again, watching Tae's chest rise and fall slowly, making sure he really wasn't dead or dying.
-
"Raw," Jeremy answered, turning away from the crying Charles. "If he doesn't like it we'll just cook it."
Charles realized he was being ignored, and flopped onto the floor like a boneless lump. He rolled around, weeping. "D-deead!"
