Lucas nodded. "Okay, let's go then," he said with a nod and a smile. "Did she say what we were doing today?" he asked curiously, clambering out of bed.

(Sorry its been taking a while to reply i was multitasking but I'm done now ~)
Marco yawned, stretched his arms out in front of him, and finally slid out of bed as well. When he looked back and it, there was fur all over the bedding, from both Marco and Lucas. "Shopping! I don't know what that is, though." -
No problem! ^^)
Lucas pursed his lips. Shopping wasn't a term used often. "Well... I know people go shopping for pets. And sometimes the lady at the store went shopping and came back with things. Maybe we're getting new things today?" he suggested, ears perking up. -
Marco nodded, remembering the other part of what she'd mentioned. "New clothes, she said," he confirmed. "But let's go get food now," he stated, mostly excited about regular food consumption.

Lucas nodded happily. Cat food was good, but real human food was even better, and having it more than once a day was amazing. He held out a hand for Marco to take and opened the door.

Marco gladly took his hand, and followed Lucas' lead in leaving the room. He sniffed the air, and smelled meat, and eggs, and practically drooled. Downstairs, Kayleigh was cooking scrambled eggs and bacon, and already had settings out for everyone at the table, with tall glasses of milk.

Brynn sat at the table, sipping her milk from a pink straw. She waved cheerfully seeing the hybrids enter the kitchen, both sniffing the food eagerly. "Hi Fox! Hi Doggie!" Olivia smiled, glancing up from the tablet in her hands. "Morning, boys!" She quipped, before returning to her work. She'd have to go soon, but she felt bad about leaving Kayleigh with Brynn and the hybids to look after..

Kayleigh had just finished up, and was walking over to the table with a big platter of eggs to set in the middle. She smiled at them, and said good morning, and only caught a little glimpse of Marco when he looked around Lucas to stare at the eggs. "There's plenty for everyone, boys, go on and sit down." Marco, of course, gave Lucas a little push, wanting him to pick where to sit first.

Lucas smiled brightly. "Thanks! It smells amazing. I've never actually had human food for breakfast, but I think I'll like it a lot, and..." Soon enough he was rambling on again, taking a seat and pulling back the chair next to him for Marco. Brynn was already digging into her eggs, eating messily while watching the two hybrids. Olivia looked up at the full table and sighed. She walked over to Kayleigh and gently tapped her shouler. "You want me to stay home today, baby? I can take the day off, come back after I drop Brynn off at school." She offered.

Marco sat down next to Lucas, letting go of his hand so that he could eat. But, Brynn was using the little silver utensils to eat, and Marco had never done that before, and he figured Lucas hadn't either. He watched Brynn, then looked over at Lucas. "Do we use those too..?" Kayleigh turned around, from scooping bacon onto a big plate, and shook her head. "No, no, I'll be fine," Kayleigh said, dropping the spatula on the counter and putting her arms around Olivia to hug her. "It's just the two boys, I'm sure I can handle it."

Lucas picked up a fork, studying it, then watching how Brynn used hers. "I think so..?" He poked at the egg experimentally. Olivia hugged her tightly, kissing her forehead. "Alright, if you change your mind, call me, okay?"

Marco, of course, copied right after Lucas, doing the same thing with his own fork. He was poking the eggs, but nothing would stick, they just fell right off. Until he got a little tiny piece stuck on the end, and he held in towards Lucas. "Look, look, I've got some." Kayleigh nodded, and gave Olivia's back a rub and a pat, before pulling away so she could finish getting the bacon.

Lucas looked over and grinned encouragingly. "Good job!" he said, right before hid grin turned mischievous and he leaned over and bit the piece off. "Thanks," he smiled sweetly, licking his lips. He managed to get a decent sized piece on his own silver stick and held it out to repay him. "Here," he held the food out. Olivia smiled, watching her wife for a minute before turning to the table. "Brynn, honey, we've got to get going, are you almost done?" Brynn nodded, her mouth full of eggs.

Marco pouted about Lucas taking his bite until he was repayed, and he happily leaned forward a bit it off. The eggs were good, cooked perfecftly, with lots of butter and salt. "Mm," he hummed, chewing the little piece appreciatively. Kayleigh came over to the table with the bacon, then, setting it in the middle. "Have a piece of bacon, Brynn, then go with mommy."

Lucas laughed softly at Marco's cute pout, glad that he didn't stay upset for long. When the bacon was set down he sniffed eagerly, grabbing a piece. Brynn took one too, listening to Kayleigh and munching obediantly.
