Adam watched and smiled charmingly. -

Felix smiled back at him, standing. "The trucks should be here. Let's go, my soon-to-be free people!" Felix bounced over to the door. -

Adam followed Felix, walking with a bounce in his step. -
He opened it, quietly having the last thirteen people filed into the trucks. He stopped when he came to Adam.

Adam yawned, boarding the truck.

Thankfully, it had worked out how he had hoped. Adam was the only one in the truck he had. The only other person would be the driver. Suddenly, frantic yelling was heard.

Adam flinched at the yelling, shivvering violently.

Felix shut all of the doors, yelling for them to go. He hopped into the back, watching, startled, as a bullet whizzed past his head. "HUNDIN! HUNDIN, FELIX!" His father screamed. As the truck began driving at a very fast speed, he shot aimlessly.
