Kai worked busily at his desk, hands working frantically yet carefully as he inked endless amounts of scenes and countless pages. Have to meet the deadline, have to meet the deadline, he chanted over and over again in his head. Every now and then he'd glance over to his phone's screen to see if he had received any messages. He'd usually get messages from a particular friend daily, or sometimes from his family, so checked never hurt.
-
Quick question: who will be playing by charrie's fiance?
Aiko seemed to be in a bright mood. He sat on the sofa in the living room of his fiance's big house. He looked around, deciding to flip on the television. Luckily, anime was on. He watched the anime show while waiting for his fiance to get dressed because they were going out on a date. "Are you ready yet?" Aiko called, and looked back at the television. He seemed to be all ready for the date, slick tux and all. -
Oooh oohhh MEE don't sweat it yo.
Kai sighed. God, he really had to stop worrying too much about friends and family or else his job would kill him.. If his family didn't do it first, of course. He took a second to turn off his phone and get back to his work. He loved his job and all, but it was so tiring when he serious work.
"Yes, love, I'm ready," the young man called from the bathroom. He stepped out neatly dressed, a blood red collared shirt, black tie, black dressing pants and shoes. His pale blonde hair was slicked back. He was a pretty serious man and as he came out he didn't really smile or express excitement for the date. His name was Akira. -
Aiko
had a nosebleedblushed at how good his date looked. "Alright, lets go." he finally responded, flipping off the television. He got up and stood beside his date, smiling with hopeful glee. I hope this date goes as planned..we haven't gone on one in a while.. Aiko had thought, still smiling without realizing it. -
I have so many typos God.
Kai kept working, working.. His eyes got heavy in no time, and before he knew it he had urged himself to push away his papers to a side and rest his head on the desk. "Just a rest.. Maybe five minutes.." he whispered to himself before going off into deep sleep.
Akira suppressed a smile and took hold of Aiko's hand in a tight yet loving manner as he walked out of the house with him. Yes, he seemed serious and bothered but he was very content. It had been a while since they had gone out together so this was great. "Get in the car, love," he said in a gentle tone. "I'm going to lock up." -
Aiko nodded and carefully opened the car door, sitting in the shotgun seat and buckled his seatbelt not too tightly but not as loose, either. He closed the car door and looked at himself in the mirror, sighing. He quietly waited for his date to come back and get in the car after locking the front door to his house.
-
Once he locked the front door he walked himself over to his car, getting in the drivers seat. He looked over to Aiko and smiled ever so slightly before starting up his car. "Remind me that we have to stop by the store to buy milk afterwards," he said.
-
"Informative.." Aiko quietly responded, looking out the window as the car started. He liked to watch the city lights pass by at night while riding in a car, it was ever so beautiful. He smiled softly, blinking a bit. He looked over to his handsome date.
-
While trying to get to their destination, there was a build up in the traffic. Soon enough Akira was grunting impatiently under his breath, this time seeming truly bothered. "Damn traffic.." he whispered under his breath.
-
Aiko looked softly at his angry fiance, having a small glint of worry in his eyes. "Maybe the traffic will clear up soon.." he murmured, seeming a bit irritated with the traffic himself. He sighed, staring at the large group of cars moving slowly on the street.
-
"I hope so, or I'm going to lose it.." he whispered, sounding pretty angry. The car moved slowly and made its way across countless other cars, and soon they found out what the cause of the traffic jam was. A car crash had taken place earlier, though it was only one damaged car on the street. It must have been some sort of hit and run. "Finally.." he muttered.
-
Aiko looked at how tense Akira sounded and seemed, frowning. He didn't like when he was in a bad mood because it made him full of guilt and feeling bad for him. He sighed, watching the city lights pass by as they were driving to the diner.
-
Once they got past the crowd it was smooth driving from there, and Akira seemed to calm down. Once there he parked the car a street down from the restaurant. The parking was full, seemed like everyone was going to dinner that day.
-
Aiko's silver eyes sparkled with delight as they pulled in the parking lot. What a big and beautiful diner! he thought, gleaming to the thought of what he thought the inside of the diner looked like. "I wonder how the food is, here. I've never ate at this diner." he softly said.
-
"The food's really good. They have quite the reputation for salads and fish," Akira said with a nod of his head. He took Aiko's hand into his own. "I hope the walk doesn't kill the mood, the valet parking is full so we had to park here.."
