sara63 Experiencedhey guys,
i've been cutting for a few months and i think it's getting worse. i always feel like s--- and that i'm not good enough and have no future. i used to think i was such a great person, but now i only think about my shortcomings. what should i do?
I know how you feel.
First I have a question,what started all this?I mean what was the first thing that made you get depressed at first place?
my parents. and my grades.

Don't feel like that.However I mostly the same but we have to remind ourselves that no one born for nothing and all of us will be someone in the future.
well, all my life i thought i was going to become a doctor. just this year i've gotten my first 50's, 60's, etc in math and science, and not a day goes by that i don't feel too stupid to live. so my parents always complain about what i do and what i don't do. sometimes i think it's so they can feel better about themselves.
anyway, whenever i cut i feel guilty because i know there a people out there far worse off than me.

That's so good your trying for becoming a doctor and be sure these tries won't be useless.

i know it's good to have goals like that, but i really don't think i have it in me
i don't have any option besides that. i mean, i don't there's any way i can be a happy person in the future, no matter what i do.

You know,when you have a life goal just don't think like:'I SHOULD BE A DOCTOR!'because if you don't get to that,your heart will broke and you'll be so angry and mad.
The goals should be like:I want to have a wonderful life in the future.
This wonderful life might be by money and might be by love =)
If you don't get the grades you want,it doesn't mean you should give up already.Whenever you have a negative thought in your mind just ignore it.Trust yourself and always believe in what you do.See those successful people out there?All of them have had their bad times in life,they just managed to overcome it.
I can't imply more,IGNORE the negative thoughts and fill your mind with positive ones.Trust me,this simple trick works wonders.
And don't worry if you get disappointed again,you can always start over and beat those damn thoughts.
