*comes to a spotless white temple with a statue of a woman in front with cinnamon brown hair, her eyes closed and her hands cupped, pouring out what appears to be fire into a pond right in front of her*
If he's a Torch...Oh wait. You don't know what a Torch is. A torch is a deceased demon who serves the goddess by being reborn to guard another demon. A Torch gains wings and a halo...but is still a demon.
*glances over at temple, wishing to see his face but highly doubting it* -

And Torches only appear to the person they protect...though everyone else can see them.
