The little girl took the present given to her, a smile spreading across her face. She ripped it open, and found a beautiful doll with the prettiest golden eyes you'll never see again. She took the doll carefully out of the box, wrapping her arms around it and embracing it with a hug while tears formed in her little eyes.
"Mum, thank you so much, she's beautiful!" the child cried out with joy, closing her eyes and hugging the doll tighter. The mother smiled, patting the girl on her head.
"I see you're having fun with it, but I want you to get your special drink your dad made for you." the mother chided, standing up from the bench on the porch. The girl nodded, setting the doll down carefully back into the box, before running into the house after her mother. A little boy smirked, darting from his hiding place and snatching the doll out of its box.
Inside the house, the little girl saw what was happening through the window, and her eyes widened. She opened the door, dropping the drink, causing the glass to shatter, as she ran outside, shrieking, "MY DOLL!!"
The boy ran across the street, still holding the doll. The girl began to run after him, but a truck came out, unable to stop. She screamed, and a thunk could be heard as her body was hit.
The boy dropped the doll and ran into the house, yelling. Blood oozed everywhere, and the doll was left alone, as was the girl. -
Zane: *mutters* Good for you.
