Basically, hell has been split open. Humans are dying, with only small villages left hanging to survival.
Demons rule the earth, and have taken over heaven, and destroyed most of the angels.
Not all demons, however, are evil.
A few are actually helping the humans, and are trying to find the reclusive, mythical Last angels.
