Right? Like, when my brother was my age he could go around town with his friends, cross the highway (its right at the end of my street), hangout at the mall with his friends, and do just about he wanted along those lines. I cant since my mom treats me like a baby -_-

Yeah. My mom let my brother go into town to get our mail by himself, but when I asked her if I could go get it while bringing my dog, she said "no, it's too dangerous." and I said, "Mom, we live in a pretty safe town. There hash been any crime here and everyone is really nice." and she said, "I don't care. That doesn't mean that something can't happen." and yeah. That went on for a while.

Same here. Like, my friends can cross the road by themselves, and so when i was with them one time, they wanted to go across the road to the pizza place and get pizza. I couldnt go. And another time i went to dunkin donuts with my friends to get coolatas (like a smoothie), and its right next to the highway (not really much of a highway, btw. Its just one of those small town one lane highways) and my mom drove by while we wee walking out, and my mom got SO pissed. I was like "ok, so my brother can go to places like this whenever he wants and could when he was my age, but i cant?" that was just so screwed up that i got yelled at and my brother never used to
