The wind blew my hair across my faces I stood there. Preparing myself. Waiting for the right moment. I knew this was the right choice.
I took out my phone and typed in a quick message. And some instructions for whoever found it. I set it gently upon the ground, a good distance away from the steep drop of rock.
The fresh smell of saltwater and the refreshing sound of waves against rocks sent my mind into a calm set.
I stepped closer to the edge and took a deep breath. I spread my arms, as if preparing to take off and fly. Closing my eyes, I took my last breath and jumped. -
