Ivan got up and walked over to Gio and hugged him gently.

He hugged back, still shivering.

Ivan rubbed his back and tried to make Gio feel better.

Eventually, Gio began to cry again. You know, like he always did.

Ivan sipped the tears away like always and kissed his cheeks.

He sniffled a lot of times before regaining control of himself again.

Ivan felt so sad for Giovanni.

Finally all he was doing is clinging to Ivan, muttering the same phrase over and over.

Ivan held Gio close to his chest.

"I love you, Ivan," he finally said.

"I love you too, my sweet."

He continued hugging him tightly.

Ivan kissed the top of his head.

He smiled softly.
