i think it's stupid, and i can't wait until next year to tell people i told you so, but i pity the people who are actually selling their houses

That is sad. There are so many things so much more pressing to worry about. World hunger, the economy, wildlife preservation. I have a feeling that once we're nearing the date they believe to be the end, it will all go to hell. -

it is sad, but people are stuck in their foolishness, and when the date comes i'm sure some will commit suicide thinking it'll be much easier

Of course they will. Humans are feeble. They don't want to see whatever comes to them, so they will inevitably end themselves. Many will.
