The apocalypse has ended, so now humans that survived have learned how to become one with nature. Each surviving human now has an animal partner- i.e., my character will have a wolf. Their animal will help them, and they have a telepathic connection. The animals can also talk to the other animals. This story will pretty much be a go-with-the-flow thing besides that sooo...ya.
