"Really? I have thought of dressing as a commoner and going into the village, but I don't want an innocent person, like you, to get blamed for my disappearance."

manders Junior"like they'd believe i could over power you?" i smiled "i highly doubt that"

"It's not that." I shook my head. "My father think s very lowly of the village people. He wouldn't think you had over powered me. He would think you saw me then noted my location to an assassin and sold me." I shook my head again. My father was ridiculous.

manders Junior"oh my" i whispered "i'm so sorry"

"That's just what my father thinks. And what are you apologizing for, anyway?" it seemed absurd for her to apologize for how my father thinks.

manders Junior"i...i just,.i'm used to apoligizing" and the painful memmories surfaced

"Why is that? You don't have to answer if you think I'm being to nosy." I was concerned. Why would Sara have to apologize for anything?

manders Junior"i've been a maid all my life...they'd beat me and make me say thank you " i started crying..

I was shocked. I gathered Sara into my arms. "I'm so sorry." how could anyone beat someone as innocent as Sara? "I can get you a job as my maid, if you want. My father may have the wrong ideas, but he doesn't beat people."

manders Junior"not your fault...and really only if you want " i looked up "i promise i'll be the best you ever had" i wiped away a tear

"I don't doubt you will." I stood up. "Let's go. Can you walk?"

"You sure? I can carry you again." I wasn't going to say it aloud, but I liked the way she felt in my arms.
