Her eyes turned a rosy pink. I knew quite well that pink was a color of love. I shut my eyes, enjoying our closeness. -

I soon fell asleep in Cole's arms. -

I gazed down at Rebekah, smiling slightly. She was the damnedest thing... She always did something to lighten the mood, whether she knew it or not. I checked the time. It was just about the end of the school day. Carlisle would be home in a matter of minutes. -

Carlisle
I walked home slowly. The day was hot, and i was sweating buckets. -
Cole
I sighed. I shouldn't be there when Carlisle came home... I gently rested Rebekah in the couch, writing her a quick note.
Running errands. -C it read in my fancy cursive. I exited through the back door. -
Carlisle
I entered the house, it being too quiet. I saw Rebekah asleep on the couch, so I closed the door silently and made it up to my room to do my homework. -

I walked through the woods, humming a quiet tune to myself. I needed time to think. -

I started on my homework, silently whispering to myslef. -

I ran my hand along the bark of trees as I walked by. It was calm and quiet, just what I needed. -
