I heard Rebekah breathing, crying. I reached the last four measures of the song, ending it quietly. I took a breath, wiping my eyes.

I clapped, crying. "C-C-Cole....." I looked down.

I stood up, turning towards Rebekah.

I wiped my eyes and ran down the staircase.

I walked over, wrapping my arms around her.

I hugged him tightly, burying my face into his shoulder.

I kissed her cheek. "Rebekah, out there... I..." I swallowed. " I really like you, Rebekah."

(I gotta grab some lunch. I'll be back soon.)

"I.... I do too, Cole..." I hugged him tightly. -
(I'm back.)
I smiled softly. "I feel like I've known you all my life... But I just met you today." -
"Exactly my feelings..." I half smiled.

I looked into her eyes. She was so trusting... In me. I longed to tell her my whole story, who I really was... What I really was.

I stared into his eyes.

Just then the front door opened. I looked over. Carlisle stood there, staring at me.

Anger boiled in me like a volcano. Had I just heard what I thought I heard? My eyes turned a deep red, like blood.
Rebekah
I looked down. "I need to umm change." I walked up the stairs and into my bedroom.
