School started. But Eric hadn't seen Ashley. Perhaps she stayed home with her mother...?
The rest of the day passed, completely absent of Ashley. -
A few hours later, I awoke. But when I opened my eyes, I heard someone say,"She's awake again." The next thing I knew it was black again.

Eric hurried back to Ashley's house. He opened the front door easily. "Ms. Princeton? You here?"

Mrs. Princeton came to the front door. "Yes, what do you want?"
Ashley's kidnapper's were wondering if Eric had found the note about them taking her yet. -
"Have you seen Ashley lately?" Eric asked.

"No, she left for school this morning. Oh and I found this in her room." She pulled a letter with his name on the envelope.

Eric opened the envelope. After reading about a sentence of the note, he dropped it, angry. "Thanks anyway. Um... I have to go now..."

"Bye, bye dear."
"I wish this didn't take so long. I wonder why Eric just couldn't bring himself to take her."said one of them. -
Eric made his way quickly to one of the portals. "Ugh... really? Who's boss back home now? It's gotta be Jacob."

"I seriously have never gotten that kid....but he might of wanted to have some fun, being his match was born dead and all."said another.

Eric made his way to the biology laboratories, worried about Ashley.

They dragged me into a building, then put me onto a gurney or something. I couldn't especially focus because I was still drowsy from the tranq.

He found a room and broke open the door. He walked over and began to undo the latches of the gurney. He scooped her up. "We'll be on our way now, if you don't mind."

"Eric?"I said, slowly regaining consciousness.
Guards rushed toward Eric and caused him to drop Ashley,who responded with a muffled,"Ow." -
"That wasn't very nice..." Eric picked up Ashley again and left the room.
