This time, he didn't catch it because the ball had gone to his left, and he wasn't very keen on sliding in the mud to get the ball.

Many times he had missed, others he had gotten.

The coach blew the whistle for them to finish up. Alex sighed calmly and smiled. "Good game~."
Steven whispered something quickly to Cody before putting away their stuff. -
"Yeah. I think we'll be able to do good for the game," he smiled.

"Yup. Hm, maybe we can get to the locker room if we hurry."

"Yeah, let's run."

He nodded and ran with him, only to find it crowding up. "Ugh, I guess we should wait."

He sighed. "Well, sure."

Steven waited as well, Cody kind of stalled a bit but went in. After pretty much everyone else was gone they went in.

He went in as well and began to change out.

Alex did the same. Steven changed out and went to hug Cody.
"Not here, idiot!"
"Hm? Why?"
"We're...not alone."
"Aw, but they won't tell." Steven smiled. -
Nick turned to the noise, and tried not to listen to the conversation. But he couldn't help it.

Alex acted normally and smiled slightly.
"I know, just...someone else could and..."
"Don't worry so much." He kissed his forehead softly, calming him down. -
Nick scolded himself mentally for eavesdropping on the conversation. He reached for his tennis shoes in his locker.
