"Rice with cheese? And cut up broccoli?" He gave him a big eyed cute look.

Ana came in curiously. "Hey."

"Hi hi!" He sang, washing broccoli and cutting it into small pieces.

"Hi love." Kai smiled and kissed her forehead. She smiled. "Can I help?" "Sure, rice?" She nodded and went to start, while Kai worked on the chicken.

"Broccoli cooks first. Takes the longest."

"Right."

"We'll add the cheese to the broccoli, then add the rice to that."

"Okie dok." Ana smiled.

"I remember this stuff in an american dish. But they added sausage to it."

"Yeah, my grandmother used to do that a lot."

"You normally just have sausage and rice, but the broccoli addition is nice."

"Yeah, I like it."

"Give you some veggies. Hm." He grabbed a mashed potato mix.
