I drove for twenty minutes yesterday around my neighborhood. I only almost ran into one mailbox š Once when I was driving, there were a bunch of deer, and I had to keep telling myself, "Don't get distracted by the deer!" They're just too cute!

Hey! Wow, 3 AMāwhat a funny time! So, in Australia, getting your driver's license can be a bit annoying. When you turn 16, you are eligible for your learner's license, which you must hold for a full year. With a learner's license, you have to have an adult in the passenger seat at all times while driving.
After completing the learner's licenseāwhich requires driving for 100 hoursāyou can apply for your Provisional License 1. You hold that for a year. Once that year is up, you can get your Provisional License 2, which you keep for two years. After that, you can obtain your Open License, allowing you to drive normally without any adult supervision or age limit restrictions.
Confusing, right? Anyway, it's a bit unfair, haha. Iām almost 16; I mentioned 16 in my introduction, but technically I won't be 16 for about a week. Sorry, I donāt have the exact date!
So things I like to do for fun: I love reading! I love baking! I also love writing and want to be a teacher and an author! So yeah that's cool. I used to have a job but I don't anymore because my boss moved locations and I can no longer work there. Anyway, I also love Little Women its such a great book, I should read it again, lol! I better go now! Congrats on getting your drivers license! -
Thanks! Yeah, where I live, you can get a learner's permit at 15 if you're taking driver's ed, and 16 if you're not. Either way, you have to complete 50 hours of driving with an adult, which includes 10 hours at night. (100 hours is CRAZY!) If you're under 21 and you complete all that, then you get a probationary license at 16 and 90 days with driver's ed, and 16 and 270 days without, where you just have a few restrictions. Then once you turn 21, you can get an unrestricted license. Yours sounds WAY more complicated š

I am trying to start a crochet business right now, but if that doesn't work out, I also want to be a teacher :) What would you want to teach? I would either teach high school science (chemistry or biology) or high school history (or whenever they learn about WWII).

There's a pizza place in town where you can get free pizza if you dress up on Halloween, and we were meant to go, but our car won't start, even when our friends came and tried to jump it š

Hey! Cool! It does sound less complicated but oh well, that's just how it is. Yeah we also have to have 10 hours for night driving. Australia is thinking to make the leaners drive 200 hours instead of 100, which I really hope they don't do, that will be way more hectic. But anyway. Cool crochet. I tried once but I wasn't too good at it, maybe because no one taught me lol.
Oh that sucks! We don't celebrate Halloween. We think it is evil, you know? And also it's my Mum's birthday that day lol.
