She said [my] life is a desolate wasteland, pillaged by the people who came and took what they wanted, and now there's nothing left but pain, mistakes, and regret. It's weird because she rarely speaks, so when I heard her say this, it was like, "yeah, you're right." She's often here, probably, and we just don't notice. She just is quiet, true to her nature.
