Here's why.
In social science, our group had to do research on slavery in Africa before transatlantic slavery.
Like, actually in Africa, not people other than Americans enslaving them. Africans enslaving people.
All we could find on google were things about transatlantic slavery, not before.
And then the few things we could find about how Africa was in terms of slavery before the 1600s was how it was these glorious days and such.
I knew it couldn't all just be these glory days. If I remember right, the borders of the tribes and nations within the continent were constantly shifting from one people taking over the other.
I might be wrong on that, don't hold me to it.
The ONLY thing I could find on slavery in Africa before the 1600s was the Muslims enslaving them, which was not what our group needed.
We tried out bing. We searched using the exact same words we had used searching with google, and within two minutes, we were getting good results.

So if google isn't even letting me get my social science homework done, I'm definitely going to be using bing more often.

I mean, I knew google tried to push you towards other subjects, but not that much.
