OH MY GOD WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US
it's so f---ing precious, holy hell -
guinea piggy's name is hurley :"))
TEEHEEEE thank you he is my babyyyy x) -
that's a cute name dawg
how long have you had the lil motherf---er -
he's sicc
a lil over a year mayne -
man
I think mine died within a few months of getting her ;~; -
sobs
-
whoah dude they have a lifespan of up to 8 or 9 years so...that's strange :(
he luv you -
yeah..
she ran out of food and I was really broke, so she went a few days on nothing but fresh produce and I think that really hurt her
I hope yours stays healthy for a really long time -
ohhhh that makes sense :^( no need to feel bad, sometimes it happens. my mouse picasso had a bad rash from mouse ocd where he'd constantly itch himself and i didnt have vet money left after the first two trips.
sometimes we cant and that's okay, a pet still loves you -
I did feel bad though
she was my responsibility
she died the day I was finally able to go out and get her the food actually
she was so weak and she wouldn't eat
I tried blending it up with some water and feeding it to her myself but in the end she died in my hands and I honestly don't know if I ever want to have my own pet again because of it
I didn't know mouse ocd was even a thing
I'm really sorry to hear about that
a lot of people wouldn't even bother taking a mouse to the vet in the first place, though
you're a good owner home slice -
really
-
awww man :( im really sorry to hear that. you did try, however, which is good.
you should try again, but only when you know you have enough money to support a pet, you know?
yeah neither did i :^<< the vet dude was like, "you're not gonna believe me..." and i didnt for a sec bc dang
YUSH :3 -
I really don't think I should
it's not even so much a concern that I won't be able to take care of a pet anymore
it's just being confronted by the fact that any pet I have will inevitably die, probably before me
I know I get attached to animals and I'm not good at losing them
so I just think it'd be better for me in the long run if I avoid that at all costs
what does that entail?
did the mouse just itch all the time, or was it just scratching because it felt like it had to?
