  Ahh, same. I was playing in the two and three-line octaves on clarinet because I was trying the new ligature that came in the mail today. It's one of those good leather ligatures, and my sister got mad because she doesn't like how high the notes are.

  I translate "kind of" into "not really" or "no" depending on the sentence.

  It was also military appreciation night last night, so some veterans played in the band and marched with us. One of the veterans stood beside me with another one behind me. They both squeaked at the same time during one of the stand tunes into my ears. I felt like I was going to go deaf.

  I met sooo many new people, and they're all people I will be marching with next year minus the seniors. I got a hug from all of them, and literally everyone said every single time was "You smell good."
