And we start on Monday. Ugh...
-
What is parcc testing?
-
Oh don't worry actually, I didn't read what it is in the subtitle lol
-
Oh s---, I gotta take that too.
My teacher told me the PARCC police are coming lol -
Well, it's the Illinois state test that we have to take. It covers all we have learned in our math class and English/language arts class.
The name of the test varies from state to state. But its almost the same thing because you are testing on things you know and things you don't. -
I'm not in america so I don't have to do it
-
Yeah, it sucks. . Lol. It used to be ISAT (Illinois State Achievement test) (I used to say "I sat on ISAT.")
PARCC stands for Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers . -
Rightttt. Well, you are a lucky duck. :P
-
Yee

Mines is called the FSA, Florida Standard Assessment, I think. They replaced the FCAT with that and honestly, eh. It seems okay, but I have to take so much tests this month, especially the EOC which is an end of course exam if you're taking a high school course in middle school. I think, I'm not sure, but yeah. xD
-
Unfortunately, me along with the whole population of kids in America from like grade 3 all the way to highschool has to take the test. They are very long and it's a timed test. No talking, no phones or anything, and whatever you write on a scratch paper that is provided has to be collected. There's lots and lots of questions. For me, there's 6 sections, 3 are language arts, 3 are math. We have 80 minutes to finish. But we do sections every day. Monday all the way to next week on Tuesday. Its horrible. ;-;

I haven't had to take ISAT since elementary. My school originally made ys take ACT's junior year, but PARCC replaced it. I'd rather take ACT's.
-
You don't have to take any science tests?
I think I am taking the Biology EOC then. xD -
Oh yeah, you live in Florida. Well, the test(s) are not that bad, but they are just soooooo long. They gave us an answer document and the fat book with all the questions. And we had to fill in bubbles properly, and all that jazz. But last year, they changed it to online, but the test is still asking similar things. Last year we did the test on computers but this year, we're doing them on iPads. :/
-
No, we don't have to yet. If there is, it's going to be separate, but as far as I know, we do not have any science tests.
