I mean, there is no preventing it. Just let it happen. Who cares about other people's life choices? I understand it may be irritating that people are opposing the gay thing, but it's also irritating to constantly bring it up. Ok, yes prepare people, so they get used to it, but honestly, who gives a flying f---? Do what you want to do.
If you don't agree with it, great. If you agree with it, great, that's fine. People need to stop using their religion as a shield to homophobia. I don't do it. They may be gay (or anything else that falls with LGBT), but they are still human beings.
Both people need to stop arguing about something like this. We're all the same. End of discussion.
