So by "gender roles" do you mean like how a specific gender should act, right or am I wrong?
Ahh, okay. I don't agree at all that gender was built by society, but I am really trying to get it. Really. I am trying. Seriously. -

By gender roles, yes, that's what I mean. The basic stereotypes of how (for example) men should act or dress.
They should like sports or video games and be "masculine" and strong.
They shouldn't wear dresses or do anything un-manly or girly.
Hence when they don't want to do, for example, a dare, boys will say "Grow a pair!" -
Ahhh, okay.
