She said she thinks I'm brave because I'm open about my sexuality, but it really doesn't have anything to do with courage for me. I'm out there out of spite. I know people would rather I stay quiet and feel ashamed, so I'm going to make them deal with it. If they accept me, I make a new friend, and if they don't, I don't back down. I smile in their face while I watch them physically withdraw.

Well.. I'm watching some anime again. It's probably been a couple years at this point, so I'm pretty excited to be this invested in one so quickly.
