League of Legends:
A popular third person MMO that is available on PCs or laptops. Involves two sides, blue and red. Objective of the game various depending on which map you play on, but for the most part, your goal is to win!
LoL:
League of Legends's abbreviation.
Lanes:
In League of Legends, you fight on a lane. How many lanes there are depends on which map you play on. In Summoner's Rift, the common map, there are 4 player areas or lanes. Top, mid, bot, and jungle. Here's a map!
From left to right, it's top, mid, and bot. The grassy areas are the jungle. There's an invisible split in the map for the two different sides to meet at to fight. There's a map with only one lane and so on (but those aren't ones we commonly play so I'll define them if you guys want me to later).
Kill(s):
Kills are objectives in the game. Because you're fighting against other people, one of your goals is to "kill" other players' champions and stack up kills to get gold that will help you get items.
