  I find that sometimes when this comes to parents it's so much easier to tune them out until you can get out. I in no way endorse this, but I can't say it's really right or wrong because I do it with my own mom. There's probably so many people out there who will say there are better ways of dealing with this, but they kind of forget what it's like to be a kid. Kids basically have no input in a parent-child relationship and it's frustrating. A lot of kids bottle this up inside and it gets them in different ways. So if you can stand strong with this emotional abuse, even if you are crying out all by yourself in you're room, you're strong.
