I'm sorry. But Rose Quartz does NOT act like that all or your character has any relation to how she acts.

I couldnt really say he's looking for a soulmate unless if it's from another dream person? Well idk.
He's more familiar with his own kind, obvi -
Then really what's the point? Acting like a total sociopath is not "fascinated or interested" in the way humans act, it just means they totally lack empathy or emotions or the feel of guilt on what they do to people. That's not fascination. That's sickening.

Idk his name yet OTL. Since he could be literally anything I might make him based from that praying mantis design I had before. And I was also thinking darker skin and maybe give him Indian based clothing -
