What a silly question. Of course you don't.
-
How did you know?
-
Neat.
-
Because we all lack lives here.
Mine is surrounded by Supernatural and strategy games. -
sometimes?
-
Selly buns, let's make a life together~
-
aw yes bby
-
We'll live forever.
-
that's a little too big of a commitment, sorry
-
You don't want to be undead and immortal? We'll become Hemomancers, not even decapitation will stop us.
-
Eh, maybe? Define our immortality? Because I want to be able to die eventually. I don't want to be a conscious being floating eternally through the universe, even after all other humans are dead?
Can I run something by you? -
Hemomancers only die when their deciples drink their blood.
What is it? -
Oh. Sounds like a plan.
Just trying to make sure my answer for my American Gov homework sounds coherent.
[i]Why is a totalitarian government often considered more efficient than a democratic one? What are some of the trade-offs in living under a democratic system and a totalitarian one?
A totalitarian government could be considered more efficient than a democratic one due to the fact that decisions are made by one figure. When citizens are not allowed input, the decision-making process is not only faster but eliminates opposing opinions. Additionally, the sole figure in charge can make change occur more rapidly because alternatives are not being raised to their ideas.
While totalitarianism can have its benefits, democracy is a more peaceful way to rule a nation. It allows its people to vote and contribute to their government, which allows them to oppose laws in a more peaceful way than totalitarian systems. With multiple parties offering their opinions on how the nation should be operated, the country should appropriately fit the majority of its voting population, something that a totalitarian system may not be able to offer. Within the latter form of government, citizens make themselves heard via public protests or, in extreme cases, revolution. While this may be effective, it is often an approach that endangers the rest of the community, whether they choose to participate or not. -
