Which part absol-chan? I have a bible in front of me right now! In my bedroom! I just finished reading Isaiah. moving to Yeremiah or whatever it's in English.
-
The Bible actually doesn't say that someone who commits suicide will go to hell.
-
And I have read all, but I didn't find the part of it. I never found the word suicide in the bible.
-
Abosl absol absol absol, which part of bible is that?
-
Nowhere in the Bible does it say that. That is a fact. Maybe Absol just assumed the Bible said that.
-
What could prove the fact?
-
I don't know. But I am absolutely positive because the Bible only mentions killing oneself twice and neither time does it say the person that did went to hell.
-
One is Judas hung himself. The other?
-
Well actually Judas is the only person in the Bible that killed himself. The other time the Bible mentions killing oneself is when the Pharisees were asking if Jesus was going to kill himself. I should have said that more clearly, sorry.
-
No. Someone else did. When Yonathan's father, or maybe King Saul(okay he was the first king of Israel, or God's favourite nation) asked his weapon bringer to kill him. but the bringer didn't want, so Saul stabbed himself using his own sword. Seeing this, the bringer killed himself too.
And Saul killed himself because he was already hurt(physically) too much. -
In my views, as long as the soul had faith in God, he or she will go to heaven. As Jesus died for our sins and we are forgiven if we have faith in Him. I have strong faith in this as a relative of mine killed himself.
-
Oh Nature you are right! I forgot about that.
I completely agree with you, Saratheamaze. -
Can't believe that. It would be so easy. He just need to have faith in Jesus, and kill himself. -_-
-
Easiness isn't the part of it. It's not easy to believe in God and keep him in your heart. It's not easy to keep your faith. There is nothing easy about keeping yourself to a faith.
-
But thanks for all of you!
