There is a central line at Woodford and there was an announcement: The train now approaching on Platform 3 is your Hainault service calling at Roding Valley, Chigwell, Grange Hill and Hainault.
I don't know why but from Woodford to Grange Hill they say this is a central line train to Hainault when sometimes it continues to Ealing Broadway for a full journey.
Roding Valley is after Woodford and it is the least used station on the underground, it is also very near the Epping Branch. After Roding Valley is the river Roding and the M11, and then Chigwell. Between Chigwell and Grange Hill there is a tunnel and those 3 stations only serve 3 train per hour in each direction.
By the time of writing this I'm between Roding Valley and Chigwell
