What is now known as GoToQuiz is old and lacks a lot of simple improvements that would revolutionize the way you look at your haven here. What I mean to suggest are simple, yet drastic changes that yes, will take time to get used to but, trust me you will learn to love.
moderators
mods are a big part of this site, they run most of the upkeep of this site, much like park rangers, but their power is limited. I hope to change this.
So my altogether plan for the mods it to allow them to possess the libraries to perform various reasons and actions that will prevent and remantisis various problems.
Here are the libraries that mods should have.
Mods should be able to be assigned by a majority of mods that agree on an particular user that meets the following requirements;
The person should have a clean record with the forum rules.
The person should be responsible and preferably over the age of fifteen.
The person should have at least a senior status level.
The person should be able to be found making responsible choices and give a great appreciation for gtq.
If you can think of any other reasonable expectations please tell me.
mods authority's
Mods should have the authority to ban users.
how that would work is like this. If a series of mods see a particular user (let's use the username Journey44) breaking a forum rule like posting a pic of a naked girl (just for example) or spamming the theater (how dare she) then they will go to her profile page and click a box that says "report user. Then they will be asked to fill out a reason for reporting the user. If Journey was reported three or more times her account would be automatically suspended.
Mods should have the ability to lock threads.

Mods should have the ability to block users from certain threads.
say journey is spamming a thread after she is asked to leave many times. Mods could then go to the thread that journey is spamming and click a box by her name that says "block user from (thread name) " this could be used as a power trip, which is where I get to my next point.
mod ranks
Mods will be promoted and given higher library's and responsibilities when they reach a certain rank. (let's say elite)[/i]
mods ought to be able to delete thread
if a mod clicks a link that requests to remove thread from a forum the it will be temporarily suspended and marked with a gray line. If a higher mod comes by later he/she can enter the thread and help determine if the thread should be deleted. If a said amount of mods mark the thread as inappropriate, then it will be removed from the forums.
