The Soebur's family moves all the way across the country to live in an abandoned home, styled as an antique Victorian house. It wasn't in sale for many years but it was still in the realty selling line. It was fixed and tweaked for the humble aboding of The Soebur's. Charlie Soebur, an awkward and contained young girl, is perceived as a "atheist shut-in" that relies on the logical knowledge of life and disbelieves in any theology. She has changed this way ever since her dad had died when she was young, and she seems it's the right thing to do. Living in their new home in their new town, it always seemed endearingly dull and calm which comforted and fit perfectly with the melancholic grief of Charlie.
A new event hit when suddenly she came exposed to the most crazy and intense things, meeting angels, angered spirits, and even passing gates from the demonic realms or certain realms that are surpassed from reality. It is explained that Charlie was born with the ability or skill to see these things, but with the power of the Jewel of the Spirits. The Jewel of the Spirits was the sacred monument of the after-life dimensions and realms outside of Earth. It's delighted power was so vibrant and vivid that it would accept any type of evil or good, any beings body. The whole after-life went through war to get the monument for their own, and it was so corrupted and brutal that they forced it upon an unborn soul and sent it to the Earth realm to hide it. It soon awakened in Charlie's body and it's presence essence is known to anybody that has the ability to sense it's own essence and even scent of it's energy. After being awakened and located in her eyes, Charlie's life is a bit more creepy and disturbing as she goes through situations that could fit in horror stories or literature.
