punk rock? classic rock? any type of rock?

A combination of classic rock (black sabbath, guns n roses, metallica, AC/DC, Led zeppelin) and some of the newer rock groups (three days grace, breaking benjamin, imagine dragons, and theory of a deadman).
I am unsure what the individual rock genres are outside of clasic rock.
