Yes, yes it is. And it's the second biggest shark, the first being the Whale Shark, but it's completely harmless.

Megalodon was real, but we have no idea if it's still around today. I think it might be possible since we only know a small percentage of our ocean, but it would most likely be lively in the deepest parts of the ocean, which is why we've never seen it.
