For one thousand years,
You shall rest,
Beneath the castle's beating breast,
And when you wake,
Your lover's heart you shall take,
And the curse will then break
-Aurora and her family were buried alive, but asleep, beneath their castle, cursed into the slumber by a sorceress their family betrayed. After a thousand years, Aurora wakes, and finds a tunnel leading up. When she returns to the world, she finds that much has changed, and a apartment complex has bent built where their castle used to stand.
On that day, a new family is moving into the apartment. She attempts to talk to the boy carrying boxes inside, but her ancient dress draws some attention. Her frantic screaming about her parents doesn't help either, and she's hauled off. After a while, she's placed in foster care, and, surprise, her new family is across the street from the apartment. And she's going to school with the boy.
Eventually, they fall in love, and then she rips his heart out and gives it to the sorceress and the woman breaks the sleeping curse.
And then she realizes what she did was wrong and she goes to the boys funeral and kisses his dead body and he comes back to life and yay happy ending. -
