I'm just upset. I wish I wasn't a newb. I'm still gonna hang around though. I'm just worried.

If we don't act stupidly then there's no harm. I don't think the statuses have any value. One day all the older users would leave and if new ones don't come, then this place would be dead. Anyways, there are some older users who behave nicely with the new users. They are helpful.
