In china starting Feb 15 it's year of the sheep.
According to astrology being born in year of sheep is bad.
People in china are having abortions and c-sections before even going into labour to avoid kids being born in year of sheep. -

But isn't Chinese astrology different anyway? I don't pay attention to Chinese zodiacs or anything.

The chinese system is a lot more precise having a 4 part system taking the info of your birth down to 1 hour instead of the western version (to my knowledge) which merely is which month (not exactly which month, but only around a month long period).
However the concept is almost exactly the same. -
noo there are moon signs too and they get down to your exact birth hour and minute, plus the city you were born in
