The point is to make sure you actually learned the materials they taught you.

I understand that, but in most schools homework is only worth 5-10% of the grade. Most teachers only care if you finish the homework, so you could write down random answers. I just don't understand why we are given the extra practice.

I guess I understand the purpose of it but it doesn't even help me understand the lesson it just confuses me T.T
