Thread Topic: You know..

I tell myself that if I keep drawing, I will keep failing. But my fear is failure, pure failure in life. But fear is something that pushes you to do stuff you thought you would never do, to conquer it. I just have to keep pushing myself to make it better.
-
I told you to stop thinking you're a failure..
At least you got the idea, keep pushing yourself to get better and learn new ways to improve. -
How am I gonna stop thinking that I am a failure? I am a failure, and I accept that. Many people told me that I am a failure and I have no talent. I will never let that go, even If I like that person. I will still hold that on as a grudge, and I will show them who's the failure.

.-.

Then many people need to be proven wrong, now don't they? You shall have success, trust me. Don't make me bust out my old notebooks.
I told you, easily distracted. I can only reply so fast with one hand... -
They do. I won't have success because now I draw horribly when I have been practicing for 4 days now! Cramped up in a space in my room that hurts my back and stomach and URGH all over and it hurts but I will myself to keep going because I wanna drive or fly or sail away from home. 500,000 mils away from home. That's all I am asking.
Okay. -
Do you take your time? Patience is very useful. If you start slow then gradually pick up pace, it'll come out better than you ever thought it could.
My simple headshots take between half an hour to an hour. But it's worth it when I'm finished. -
I'll try that. But, I've tried to go slow but it's my habit on going really fast. xD
Digital Painting and coloring and crap takes me decades. Okay maybe 1-2 hours. Or 56 minutes, depends. -
I agree with Mo and try to draw for yourself, not for the others. Don't post them here. And it won't take 4 days for you to improve. It takes ages! So many people who drawbeautifully are over 20 and they've been drawing since they were like 13-14. Don't give up! You're just a beginner. You should fail to learn from them...
-
I don't do digital though.
I've always loved to draw. Anime hit me more in middle school so I've just been practicing whenever the mood strikes me. -
1-2 hours is nothing... my latest drawing took around 8 hours tho it's very small.

(I was with Swagg)

Dragon- I've been drawkng since I was 4... or.. 5.. I don't know but I've been drawing since then and I am sick of being below the beginners.
Moya- @-@ I know you don't.
I love drawing but I want it to be perfect. Art and Writing takes me away far away from reality to get away from my problems. I feel like whenever I imagine that I am in my stories at night, I feel like I am the main character. o-o -
Perfection can be reached in time. Like I said, I started anime/manga style in middle school, I'm a senior. I still have a lot to learn about anatomy and I want to learn to animate my works, so I can make fun videos.
-
Swagg, childhood doesn't count because a kid can't notice some details that a teenager or an adult do. Now id important because you can study a drawing and understand how it's been drawn.
And if you love it so much, why do you care what people say? Draw what you like and enjoy the moments you hold a pencil and put your imagination on the paper! The rest, don't care. Try to draw a copy from a perfect drawing! This helps you to learn.
