I told her I was sorry and stuff, and she just stared at me. I'm upset. I had thought about what I was going to say, I drew something for her, and she just stared. After the staring, she said, "I've tried to make you happy but it doesn't work. What do I do? And don't get me wrong, I'm glad you apologized, but I want me and Grandpa to be happy as well. What can I do?" I couldn't say another word.
I'm actually quite envious of my cousin. All she had to do was apologize for not being around much, and her and my grandma had an amazing 15 minute conversation while I only got 2 minutes. I'm officially antisocial and somewhat bipolar. :/ -
Perhaps she's sad because your asking if you could go home implied you didn't want to be around her?

All I did was ask her if we could eat at home (HER HOME NOT MINE D:) instead of go out to eat. That, and I reminded her that she said we'd only be there for the afternoon..

I don't know if this is a "Don't you like doing things with me?" or a "Don't you think we could do something for me?"
Either way, I think the way to go is to sit with her for a while and see if she'll talk to you about it. Don't let her ask how to fix it. Apologize again and ask how you can help make her feel better. -
