What if a character woke up in some weird universe where they had to fight and do whatever it takes to get back home (may include romance and ect). Or is that to over done?

ooh! maybe one of our characters wakes up in some strange land with many species of dragons and he has to survive and kind of get many of the dragons trust but then ... uh I don't know
