What does the little blue Intel sticker say?
The processor(CPU) is what makes the computor function. That is attached to the motherboard, which everything is connected to. Basically the cpu is the thinking part of the computer. The RAM (random access memory) is what makes programs run faster. The more RAM, the faster things run. -

You got RAM wrong. RAM stands for Random Access Memory. That is how programs store variables.
