I had a cat called Puss Puss,she was a pure black oriental with yellowish-green eyes. Recently shes been sick... she wouldn't eat, sleep, go to the toilet, drink, meow or walk... she would just lay there purring. My Mum took her to the vet, and the vet did tests, and found out it was cancer. Last night Mum and I went to the vet and the vet said.. *cries* she would have to be put down.... today I said my final goodbyes... and Puss went to the vet to get put down. I do believe in afterlife, and after Mum came home, she said there was a surprise in the car after I had been crying and saying how much i'll miss Puss. Anyway, Mum went out into the car... got the surprise... and it was a new cat! It was black like Puss,and had the same yellow eyes as Puss! It was a kitten who had been trapped in a fox trap for six weeks, left in the dump, and then we saved her! Mum was saying how the vet said if no one claimed her, she would be put down because she had three and a half legs. Now when I say that, it isn't gross, it's just one of her legs is curled up and looks sore, so the way she gets around is she limps. We called her Panda, though I thought we should of called her " Puss Two" , but Mum said no cat would ever replace her. Anyway, just saying about my loss. P.S I know this sounds crazy, but I think Puss in a afterlife is Panda.

Awww. That's so sad, yet sweet. I've always wanted a three legged cat.

thank you. At least Puss is out of pain... poor thing probably would of passed anyway.

oh, and after mum came back, puss was still there but dead... it made me sad because I thought of how she use to always sleep on my bed... now she never will again *cries*

I'm really sorry, I know how you feel. I had a kitten named Cloud Nyne who was eaten alive by parasites, then there was Star and Nina who died of dehydration one summer. Plus all my cats who died of old age. It's a horrible thing, it's like losing a part of yourself.

I know... Puss had lived with us for 6 years, and Sandy, one of my mums friends, found Puss under in a creek, so we got Puss stray. And whats even sadder, is my little baby brothor Hunter, he started to say " Puss, Puss." ... and now shes gone.

*sighs* it isn't the same without Puss Puss... I mean, Panda is adorable, but I want Puss back...
