I was going to apply for a scholarship- it's an art competition. The theme is you have to create a poster that represents the 40th Congressional District- that being some of the cities that are mainly Latino around my area. (Huntington Park, Bell (I know you've heard of this place if you watch the news), etc.) It's open to high school stufents students who live there.
The problem- I don't live in the 40th Congressional District anymore. I live RIGHT OUTSIDE it. ; A ; My aunt lives in one of the cities of the district though, but I'm unsure if I can use her address or not...
Living in the nonghetto really sucks sometimes LOL, I remember so clearly how my old area lacked artists and the competition is really quite limited. I could have done it... -
You should still do it. You never know unless you try. Besides, your art is awesome, gurlie.
